Scotia's Push to Become 'Canada's Hockey Bank'
Scotiabank is dropping some serious cash to get its name emblazoned on one of Canada’s most iconic arenas. The bank is reportedly paying $800 million to change the name of Toronto’s Air Canada Centre to Scotiabank Arena. The partnership with Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment kicks in next summer, and will last for 20 years. Ohio University sports business professor, Norm O’Reilly speaks on Bloomberg Markets Canada.
