Environmentalists Cheer As Petronas Drops Canada LNG Project
Petronas’ decision to back out of its planned liquefied natural gas export terminal on British Columbia’s coast is the latest blow to Canada’s energy sector. Yesterday, Advantage Oil and Gas CEO, Andy Mah, told us he believes it’s a missed opportunity in the fight against greenhouse gas emissions, given that LNG can serve as a bridge from oil and cleaner energy sources.
